Roadmap

Impactium is a transitional technology: it does not require civilization to make a hard cut-over to begin. Its path is a sequence of phases, each of which makes the network more real, more permanent, and more open — building toward a full Impact-Based Economy.

Where we are: building

The chain, the SDK, the wallet, the ledger, and Chain Resources are being built and hardened, and the dApp execution layer that applications like Bliss will run on is being designed. During this phase, development networks are exactly that — development — and reset freely. Nothing here is permanent yet.

Pre-Genesis: the incubation

The next milestone is a pre-genesis live network — the incubation phase. It is a real, running network, but it comes before genesis, and it exists to do one thing: capture the founding record.

In this phase:

• The founding organization comes into being on-chain, and members onboard by referral — invite-only, one connected mycelium.
• Real contributions are captured as verified impact from day one; the network documents the impact, deliberation, and partnerships that will define its founding.
• The Universal Constitution takes shape through recorded deliberation, and partnerships form — each documented on-chain as a living agreement.

Everything accumulated here is what gets compacted into Genesis.

Genesis: the founding token

Genesis is the founding token — the artifact that ends Pre-Genesis and begins the permanent record. It carries two different kinds of thing, and that combination is the point:

The intent — what the network is for:

• the Impactivism manifesto,
• the Civicognita charter,
• and the terms by which everything after it is meant to grow and evolve, for the centuries.

The record — what the network did:

• the sum of everyone's contributions to the mission up to that point, with individual attribution preserved,
• a record of captured historical impact,
• the ratified Universal Constitution, arriving with its full deliberation history,
• and the founders' residual registry — so every Entity present at Genesis shares in a portion of all impact created afterward, forever.

A founding artifact holding only accumulated history would say what the network did. Carrying the manifesto and charter as well makes it say what the network was for — and intent is the thing every later era gets measured against.

Genesis is not a reset. It executes as a governed upgrade of a continuous chain — practiced beforehand — so the most important transition Impactium makes uses the same machinery as every routine one after it, and every record and proof carries through unbroken.

The gates

Genesis has firm gates: the record only becomes permanent once the network is ready to carry it. Three things must be real first.

• a fully secure end-to-end experience with on-chain encryption (see Privacy), so the record's cryptographic protections are in place;
• Bliss — the on-chain OS that carries the influx of data and automated pipelines subliminally, keeping people in flow. Genesis waits until the OS people will actually live in is real; and
• a ratified Universal Constitution carrying at least 1000 Voices. A Voice is a representation of a single shared perspective — deliberately not one-person-one-vote, because a founding record should reflect the range of perspectives a network actually holds, not the number of accounts it has.

That third gate is the one that cannot be engineered. The first two are finished when the code is finished; this one is only reached by running a stable network, growing it, and accumulating real constitutional deliberation.

After Genesis: what widens

Genesis makes the record permanent; it does not immediately open the doors. Participation widens through Evolutions, deliberately and in order — the network governs itself before it invites the world, because opening up while any single key can still force a consensus upgrade would concentrate exactly the power this system exists to disperse.

Two things are worth stating plainly about that widening:

• Referral is permanent. Every wallet is created by referral, at every scale and in every phase. That is what makes the network one connected mycelium: every actor has an upstream that made them possible, and that lineage is what residual flows along. What widens over time is who may be referred.
• Identity Verification becomes mandatory. As an open network where verified impact is the unit of value, confirming that participants are who they claim to be is a requirement, not an option — and it is the counterweight to a gate that is no longer "someone vouched for you personally".

From here the network keeps evolving in place — upgrades are governed by proximity-weighted member vote, the record is never reset, and every proof ever issued keeps verifying.

Evolutions: how the network advances after Genesis

The network does not stop at its founding. It advances through Evolutions — governed consensus upgrades, designated by ordinal (Evo1, Evo2, Evo3), each one the chain deliberately becoming a different thing than it was. Genesis is what Evo1 mints.

Each Evolution mints a capsule carrying the compacted contribution record, a proportional residual entitlement, and a contract stating the next Evolution's criteria — which is why the path beyond Genesis is not written on this page. The chain carries it.

Universal Voice: when every living person has a voice

Far beyond Genesis lies a different kind of milestone: the point at which Impactium has been adopted by more than 75% of the global population — when practically every living person has a voice on chain.

It is deliberately a civilizational bar rather than a technical one, and unlike an Evolution it is not something the network can vote itself across. Impactium is a transitional technology: it claims to be the economics of an Impact-Based Economy, and that claim is only true when the economy actually runs on it. Until then the network is real, permanent and growing — but still incubating the thing it intends to replace.

Evolutions continue past it. Universal Voice is a threshold the world crosses, not the end of the sequence.

The direction

Each phase widens the circle: from a team building the tools, to a founding network documenting real impact, to a founding token carrying both the intent and the record, to an open public economy. The end state is the reason for all of it — an Impact-Based Economy, where the measurable good people create is the value that counts, and the true cost of what we deliver is finally on the books.
